So ive been reading around a lot of peoples wordpress after gareth introduced me to the site. I must say im beyond impressed. The question that occured most to me while looking around was; how do these people who write for newspapers, even tabloids have these jobs when theres such talented writers everywhere that actually know how to interest people in what they write. I pick up a newspaper everyday and a lot of the time skip column after column as the writers just simply do not interest me. I dont read much and i dont write much so my wordpress is not going to be anywhere near the standard of anyones ive so far come across but then, why should it? and why would anyone expect that of me? I ask this after reading gareths blog about peer pressure and wanting to be the “same”. As he said here “It’s more comfortable, it’s easier” and hes totally right.
See, im learning already. So im not going to try and make out im some big wig at writing, i will continuosly try and impove my writing skills but i wont let the fact people write more then me and have a greater understanding of the whole english language thing condone me to writing nothing. I can only hope that my current abilities are enough to keep you interested in what you read.
